The diet cycle is exhausting, constantly promising a quick fix or increased confidence, but once you get through the new-diet phase, becomes just like every other diet; unsustainable, bland and overly-restrictive. If any of this sounds familiar, just know that you are not alone and it’s not your fault that it didn’t work! That is the diet cycle working as designed – keeping you feeling guilty so you keep coming back to try the next new diet. This is one of the reasons why I practice as an anti-diet dietitian.
I’m here as your healthcare provider to listen to your personal experiences, hear your concerns, and guide you towards your goals with compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based nutrition care. I’m here to walk you through the complexities of health and help you discover what it truly means to you. I will support you with finding positive, sustainable behaviors. I won’t prescribe a restrictive diet or tell you to stop eating your favorite foods.

We will work through negative diet habits to forge a positive relationship with food, rooted in balance, not restriction. Each coaching session will conclude with guidance to help you incorporate gentle nutrition into your everyday life.
- Accountability and support. You’ll have my full attention during our coaching sessions and unlimited messaging support through the HIPAA-compliant app, Fay.
- Sustainable change. Celebrate behavior change instead of traditional dieting goals which only celebrate how much weight you’ve lost. We’ll work together to identify what goals are really important to you!
- A qualified coach. As a Licensed and Registered Dietitian, I am qualified to provide individualized guidance to my clients, instead of blanket statements and fad diets like other self-proclaimed “nutrition experts”. I engage in continuing education opportunities regularly, in accordance with State and National guidelines, to continue practicing evidence-based dietetics.
